To extend a copper based via fiber connection to a maximum distance 80KM, BSD upgraded the BM-1000LC-SFP 1000Base TX to BM-1100LC-SFP 10/100/1000Base TX. to 1000base LC connection with SFP slot, from 2km up to 80 km. (October 2009)
10G modules are now available at BSD with multi mode 300m and single mode fiber 10km transmission distance. Cisco coding available. They are designed to optimize high performance and it's costly effective for customer solution in datacom. (July 2010)
